My name is Kaila, and I am honored to serve in this ministry supporting children whose parents are attending recovery meetings. My passion for working with kids has grown over the last eight years; six years as a daycare teacher and the last two as a Registered Behavior Technician. Through these roles, I’ve learned the importance of patience, compassion, and creating a safe place where every child feels seen and supported.
My faith journey began just a year ago, and in that time God has transformed my heart in ways I never expected. He has given me purpose, clarity, and a deep desire to serve families walking through difficult seasons. Coming from a family with a history of addiction, I understand how deeply this struggle impacts both adults and children. That personal experience is part of why I feel called to volunteer in this ministry, so I can offer the kind of support, stability, and love I once needed myself.
Outside of serving and working, I am a mother of two boys and a step-mother to two boys and one girl. My home is lively, loud, full of love, and has shaped much of who I am today. Everything I do, at work, at church, and at home is rooted in my desire to pour into the next generation and follow the path God is guiding me on.
