Katie Ganzel

With over 25 years of firsthand family experience with addiction and 10 years of personal recovery, I bring both professional dedication and lived understanding to my work with children and families. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on trauma and addiction, deepening my knowledge of the emotional, developmental, and behavioral impacts these challenges can have on young people.

As a mother of 13 years, I have extensive experience supporting children with a variety of special needs, including 11 years of personal experience with autism. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and family-centered, recognizing that every child’s journey is unique.

I am passionate about helping children build resilience, strengthen emotional well-being, and feel safe, understood, and supported as they navigate recovery, change, and personal growth
